grca trail closures social 2025[cs]3FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, March 31, 2025 (Port Hope, ON) – The Ganaraska Forest and all GRCA properties are now open after being temporarily closed, due to the weekend ice storm.

Ice accumulation and expected high winds on Mar. 31, 2025, can present a serious hazard to the public from falling trees and limbs. For your safety, please do not visit the Ganaraska Forest or GRCA Conservation Areas at this time.
