The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) reopens the Ganaraska Forest trails to all recreational uses on Friday, May 1st, 2026.
Many improvements to the Ganaraska Forest are planned and/or underway for 2026, please consider joining the email newsletter or follow Ganaraska Conservation on social media to keep up-to-date (links to social media can be found at the bottom of the page).
Memberships are available throughout the year, while Day Passes for all activities in the Ganaraska Forest will become available from the Ganaraska Conservation Online Store and the GFC gatehouse kiosk the night before the May 1st opening.
Help Keep Trails Clear
New this year, the GRCA has developed an online form for reporting property and trail issues, which can be found on the Contact page of this website.
Like all forests, the Ganaraska Forest can experience fallen trees, limbs and erosion due to a number of factors. Reporting trail issues to the GRCA helps staff track and respond to issues as quickly as possible.
This new reporting tool simplifies the process, though users can still follow the steps below as well:
- Report trail blockages to volunteer@grca.on.ca with an approximate location.
- Please provide a description of the blockage to help staff assess the severity.
- Screenshots from the Ganaraska Forest Trails Map, using the Field Maps app, or what3words can help staff locate blockages more quickly.
New to the Ganaraska Forest?
For users looking to access the Forest, please purchase a Membership or Day Pass by visiting the Ganaraska Conservation Online Store at https://store.ganaraskaconservation.ca. For Day Passes only, please visit the gatehouse kiosk of the Ganaraska Forest Centre, located at 10585 Cold Springs Camp Rd., Campbellcroft, ON.
Memberships and Day Passes must be carried on a mobile device or printed, while parking passes should be printed and displayed on the dashboard of your highway vehicle. Every day pass and membership includes the parking portion as part of the purchase.
For assistance, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions and Support Information in the Online Store or call the GRCA during office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 905.885.8173.
Renewing Your Membership?
After logging in with your email address and password, you will be taken to the My Account page. From there, you will be able to see the current status of your membership, which will offer you the Renew option if your membership has not expired.
If your membership has expired, please visit the Online Store section and navigate to the membership you wish to renew. Select the membership you wish, click Next at the bottom of the page and, then, click Pay Now.
A window will pop-up for you to enter your payment card details. Payment processing can take some time, please be patient and DO NOT click the button more than once, as it can result in additional charges. The page will forward you to your account details when processing is complete.
User account details can be updated by visiting the Edit Profile page.
In order for the membership system to retain user information, expired members become GF Users — a basic user role allowing users to access their account in the future, if they so wish.
Trouble logging in?
Like most websites, the online store utilizes caching to decrease load times. If you encounter issues, please clear your browser cache by searching the steps for your specific device and browser.
If you have forgotten your password, please use the Forgot Password option and check your Junk/Spam folder. Too many failed login attempts can lock a user out for a short period but the form will display how many attempts a user has remaining.
If you continue to encounter issues, please call the GRCA during office hours for further assistance.
